If you are interested in general academic tutoring or SAT prep for your child, please Lara a call. We can compare schedules and find a time that works to meet with your child. After-school and evening slots are most popular. If your child is old enough to have a study hall or free block at school, that is a great option.
Once we decide on a time for tutoring sessions, I will gather other information from you to get you set up in my system and will ask for your preferred payment method for auto billing (credit card, debit card, or bank routing information).
Then I will email you a welcome letter. In it will be 3 important links:
1) The policy agreement, so we are on the same page about cancellations, etc.
2) A link to set up your Tutorbird account. This is the scheduling and invoicing software we use. You can log in any time to see past lesson notes, upcoming scheduled lessons, payments, etc.
3) The link to the Zoom meetings. It is the same link every time, so you can bookmark it on your child’s device.
On the day of your child’s first meeting, have them click the Zoom link about 5 minutes before their session starts. They will be put in a “waiting room.” At the appointed time, the tutor will start the meeting.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact your tutor any time through email, phone, or text. We will return your call within 24 hours, but usually much sooner.
